A new day starts with relaxation,a great Queens breakfast,reading a book in the early morning calmness.Later on we went to the gypsy's neighborhood.
I was expecting tents or little wooden ghettos but I saw palaces instead.You cannot cross their villages,old women are sending you curses for being there uninvited..we didn't want to disturb them further so we left.They build their houses like palaces to demonstrate power.The more colorful they are or the biggest the most powerful they feel.
We continued to the village Hadimbu.On the top of the mountain there is a fantastic christian orthodox monastery.The Romanian Monastery architecture is different from Greece and Bulgaria.The buildings are creating a peacefulness and the order is unique in the landscape.On the way,the view was amazing...graphic villages with simple beautiful people parking their horse-carriages on the side of the road and having a cold beer or working hard under the midday sun in their fields gathering hay for the horses.
There was a protected oak forest with ancient oak trees and prairies with horses and sheep or cows.My eyes were hypnotized by the beauty.
We returned to Iasi and went for shopping in the local bazaar,bought so many fruit and veggies.
And then we visited another monastery on the top of a hill inside town.Wonderful as well.
We ate in a nice vegeterian restaurant and then we walked on the historical center of Iasi.


at the end of the long day the sleep is very welcomed!
